Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When I purchase licenses, what happens to the two free licenses?
A: The two free licenses remain granted and add to the number of purchased licenses
Q: How does the licensing process works?
A: The server needs to be licensed to the extent of active users i.e. the number of users that send or receive information from the server. Discontinued users and future newcomers do not need a license since they are not active.
Q: What happens when the number of active users exceeds the number of licences?
A: When newcomers become effective and the number of effective users exceeds the number of available licenses, the newest users are disabled first leaving licenses to the users that have been effective in their order of arrival.
Q: When I add new licenses, is there anything special to do with the other licenses?
A: Licenses sum up as you add them to the system
Q: Are there limits to the deployment of the client application?
A: The client application can be freely deployed
Q: I am not using Microsoft Outlook, so I cannot use the application. Is it true?
A: The answer integrates with Microsoft Outlook so people can post their activity information in the out box, waiting for a connection to become effective to deliver the e-mails. If you are not using Outlook, you can use POP3 to retrieve the e-mails or SMTP to send them.
